Freed Variations

One of the reasons for the popularity of Freed pointe shoes is their flexibility in manufacturing. In addition to their standard stock shoes, Freed offer an infinite number of variations. If you require variations to a shoe, then there is a small surcharge of £3. This includes maker requests when shoes need to be made specifically for a customer (i.e. they are not in stock). We regret that we are unable to exchange Freed special order shoes so please ensure when ordering you are certain the variations provided are suitable. The minimum order we can take for special order shoes is 3 pairs. If you need a particular maker and the shoe is in stock then the minimum order and surcharge is waived.

If shoes need to be made for a customer then the approximate timescale can be found on the Makers page. This depends on how busy the requested maker is so if possible place orders well in advance of your likely requirement. We will always confirm the approximate timescale at time of order. The following shoe diagram shows the main measured points that can be specified in 1/8 of an inch increments: A=Vamp, B=Side, C=Back. D indicates the type of vamp (Solid line is a round cut and the dotted line is a V cut). Please supply all measurement in inches.

The following chart gives the approximate stock measurements for all sizes. Decide how much you want the particular measurement reduced by and decuct from the the stock measurement shown below. If you are unsure, please ask for advice.
